We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and adaptable professional to fill the fulltime role of Inventory Controller at our Central Coast branch.About the role:Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be required to manage a team of up to 10 people and organise, supervise and control all work activity relating to receival, replenishment, assembly, loading and delivery of products is conducted accurately and product integrity is maintained.
The role of the Stock Controller is to monitor and control stock movement, adjustments and bin allocations and any other duties as requested by the Operations Manager.
This position requires some heavy lifting.Duties:Review the bin allocations of stock and make changes as necessary.Assign new stock lines a bin allocation.Delete stocked lines and remove bin allocations as advised by Purchasing.Investigate discrepancies and adjustments and report outcome.Act accordingly to reduce warehouse expenses through minimising damages and wastage.Skills and Experience:Current Forklift licence (essential).Proven experience in warehousing & distribution management and inventory control.Computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems.Physically Fit.Exceptional time management and communication skills.Able to provide leadership and motivation to a team.Applicants may be subject to a pre-employment medical.If you believe you are the right person to join our business, please apply with your confidential resume.Please note only short listed candidates will be contacted.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Do you have a current forklift licence?#J-18808-Ljbffr
