We are seeking an Inventory Controller to join our Glencore Technology team on a full-time basis.
This position will report to the Aftermarket Superintendent.
You will be responsible for: Assisting the management of logistics operations in the department / project. Manage our inventory and routinely process Stock Notification Receipts to ensure deliveries are processed in a timely fashion. Receipting of Inventory Outside of Third-Party Logistics and Stock Locations. Timely processing of inventory receipts of Transfer Orders. Identify parts used in all of Glencore Technology's technologies and manage these through the SAP catalogue. Management of stock accuracy in all warehouses. Conducting Inventory Analysis using the SLOB process - Slow Moving & Obsolete. Ownership of stock plan creation/updates for all warehouses (domestic & internationally). Involvement in all aspects of catalogue process. Providing operational support to the GT Aftermarket team. To be successful in this role, you will have: Prior supply chain and logistics experience with domestic and international freight. The ability to work with Freight forwarders, warehouses, and the team to achieve the desired outcome for the business/project. A working knowledge of Incoterms. An understanding of supply and demand and how it is managed within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Experience using computerised ERP systems; the use of SAP will be highly regarded. An understanding of inventory and cataloguing practices. An understanding of Glencore Technology's technologies is highly regarded.
