As an Inventory Controller, you will report to our Purchasing and Logistics Manager and work closely with our experienced Logistics and Inventory Team Lead. Your role will involve being responsible for organizing every item in our inventory space with great attention to detail. You will conduct regular cycle counts, uncover discrepancies, and ensure that everything is accurately accounted for. Additionally, your precision and dedication will be crucial in ensuring that every component is flawlessly assembled for our groundbreaking projects.

Location Victoria, BC, Canada
Base Salary range is between $40,780 – $ 50,976 CAD for this position, Annual variable compensation tied to the completion of goals has a target which would be set in a range up to 2.5% of the base salary. Employees are also eligible to earn profit sharing.

Free parking on-site or around the premises Your day as an Inventory Controller may include: Completing daily cycle counts and weekly reports to meet department metrics. Picking/issuing work orders, scheduling and executing the kitting process. Maintaining floor stock of POU and Kanban items. Coordinating and maintaining cleanliness of the controlled inventory areas. Processing transactions within ERP. Planning and monitoring material movement to ensure continuous operations. Managing shortages by proactively furnishing the Supply Chain Manager with a report of same and actioning feedback according to StarFish Medical guidelines. Daily and weekly reporting including INV by commodity, cycle count results, and any other reports as requested by the Purchasing and Logistic Manager and the Inventory Team Lead. Planning and monitoring material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations. Liaison with procurement staff to ensure timely arrival of goods and services to manage on time delivery of goods and services. Any other duties required in the course of the day as requested by the Purchasing and Logistic Manager or the Logistics and Inventory Team Lead. What You Bring To The Team :

You are suited to our approach and possess these attributes:
Minimum of 2 years of experience with procurement, inventory or production control in a quality manufacturing environment is desired. Degree/Diploma preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with demand management, master scheduling, production control or inventory control is preferred. Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO9001,13485 is beneficial. These Skills and Abilities will help you thrive: Effective communication skills and experience working with suppliers, management and peers required. Highly organized and able to undertake and prioritize a multitude of tasks. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
