Inventory Control Specialist (Buyers Administrator)Location: Sydney - WestWe are seeking a motivated and organised Inventory Control Specialist to join our collaborative Buying team in an entry level role at Costco's Head Office in Lidcombe.Costco Wholesale is the 3rd largest global retailer already operating more than 875 locations in 14 countries, catering to both business and individual members.
We are dedicated to quality in every area of our business, and have a unique opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our growing Buying team and develop a career at Costco.Position Summary: This role is part of Costco's Buying Team, who are responsible for all the products and services that Costco sells and provides to members.Job Duties/Essential Functions:Raise and manage domestic and international purchase ordersReview inventory across all warehouses, depot and e-Commerce sitePlanning and forecasting sales plans and Open to Buys across multiple categoriesUpdating item and supplier records for changes such as price, descriptions, delivery specifications and technical product informationSetting up, coordinating and managing marketing promotions with Marketing and e-Commerce teamsAssisting the Buyer and Assistant Buyer with various merchandise projectsWorking with Suppliers, Depots, Warehouse and e-Commerce teamsRequired Qualifications / Industry Specific Skills:Education/Training:Bachelor Degree in disciplines of Commerce, Marketing (Channels), Supply Chain, Accounting/Finance, Communications or International Business.Knowledge/Skills:AS400Strong attention to detailApproachable with excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task, with strong organisation and problem solving skillsStrong evaluation and analytical skills* If successful, you will be required to undertake role and department specific training within specified timeframes.Job Ref: AU2068H.000509Submitted: 08-01-2025
