The Opportunity We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Inventory andPurchasing Officer to help us drive operational excellence while ensuringcustomer satisfaction. As our businesscontinues to grow, we need someone who can effectively manage purchasingcycles, support inventory management, and contribute to our sales growthinitiatives. You will play a crucialrole in aligning our purchasing and inventory processes with customerexpectations and manufacturing requirements, while maximizing the benefits ofour Thunderbird Customer Support Package for our customers. The Fit You will be passionate about providingthe best products and services to our customers and will enjoy working in asupportive environment where integrity, respect and continuous improvement arevalued. To succeed in this role you willalso have: Strong computer skills, including proficiency inMicrosoft Office applications. Experience in purchasing, inventory management, or arelated field. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability tocollaborate effectively with diverse teams. Able to manage purchasing cycles and vendor relationshipsto meet product demand and minimise backorders. Support inventory control efforts by conduction cyclecounts, investigating variances and ensuring accurate stock management. Knowledge of MRP systems and supply chain processes is aplus.
