What you will be doing… The Supply team is responsible for managing Virgin Australia aircraft inventory to support all maintenance requirements in the timeliest and cost-effective manner.
We are looking for an Inventory Analyst who will perform analysis and provide recommendations that will enhance inventory and supply chains strategies. This role will see you using your people skills to liaise with various internal departments to gather the required information. You will draw on your report writing and analysis skills to successfully convert data into robust and reliable reports.
You will… Maintain aircraft spares and related equipment availability to support Virgin Australia's Engineering and Maintenance on-time performance target.Monitor and collect data on current operations including part utilisation, purchasing, repair activity, and vendor performance.Assist with the coordination and conduct of the engineering procurement process.Analyse monthly supply chain cost.Provide input and promote opportunities to review and improve departmental processes and procedures and continually improve interaction with stakeholders.Suggest changes to inventory plans and processes to improve parts availability and minimise cost.Take responsibility for controlled documents and work instruction amendments where required.Review inventory shortages and update reorder levels based on operational requirements.What you need to be successful: Minimum 3 years' experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Supply or Logistics function.Experience with a relevant CMMS or ERP system.Significant experience in strategic inventory analysis.Demonstrated asset management experience and experience in reporting on financial budgets.Excellent verbal & written communication to effectively deliver business unit objectives.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and a working knowledge of Power BI, MS Access, or Tableau.Demonstrated data analysis and reporting experience.Proven ability to assess complex scenarios and plan outcomes in the most effective manner.Relevant qualifications in business management, operations, logistics, or a similar field.We're committed to looking after you, with some of the best benefits and conditions in the industry – including (but not limited to): Discounted flights for you and your loved ones (including $1000 worth of travel credits per year).A flexible, hybrid work style.
