Our client is looking for qualified and experienced Building Surveyors to work 2 - 3 days per week (14-21 hours) for up to a 6 month period.The role:The position will involve working with a small team of Building Surveyors to undertake building inspections in line with policy and procedure.
Salary to be negotiated depending on skills and experience.Your main duties & responsibilities will include:Working with a small team of Building Surveyors to undertake building inspections.Adhering to Council's policies and legislative frameworks relating to Building Surveying, Building Certification, and Planning matters.What you will need to succeed includes:Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health and Building, Building Surveying, or a related field.Accreditation with NSW Fair Trading at a registration level of Building Surveyor – restricted (class 1 and 10 buildings).Experience in a similar role within an LGA (preferred).Outstanding all-round communication skills.Remarkable organisational skills and attention to detail.Knowledge or ability to familiarise with the relevant legislation.Demonstrated ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively.Class C Drivers Licence.About You:A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.Ability to manage workloads, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.Previous experience in a similar role for LGA desired.Disciplined with remarkable organisational skills to meet targets and purpose.Effective and efficient use of time to ensure a productive workflow.Drive to succeed.Hold a C class Drivers Licence (desirable).What perks are included for you:2 or 3 days part-time work per week.What you need to do now:If you or anyone you know is interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.Alternatively, you can email your CV directly or contact me on 0474 004 922.Please note - Only shortlisted candidates with full working rights will be contacted.
