This education centre is a community college affiliated to a local university which offers five diploma courses that enable teachers to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in mainstream schools. The centre also provides school-based tuition for children with learning difficulties. The centre is part of a nationally registered trust that runs charitable educational projects.
The Deputy Principal will be responsible for the management of the college, including course development, marketing, and service provision. He or she will also oversee a home schooling project, which is separately funded but runs within the remit of the college.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the administration of a similar organization, in addition to course development, marketing, and the provision of services. He or she will be capable of overseeing the home schooling project.
