We aim for ethical, spiritual, and moral responsibility based on Biblical principles and founded in prayer.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide professional clinical counselling for individuals, couples, families, and groups.Assess each client to identify mental well-being concerns and emotional distress.Offer an appropriate therapeutic approach while ensuring adherence to a professional ethical framework such as BACP.Assist with the centre's training seminars as required.Meet regularly with colleagues for peer support and monthly with an external supervisor.Assist with financial administration by communicating clearly with clients regarding appointments and working with the office manager regarding payments for service provision.Maintain accurate client records and document the therapeutic approaches provided and progress made, ensuring the appropriate security of client notes.Minimum RequirementsCross-cultural experience, preferably with an organization.Good interpersonal skills with people from diverse backgrounds.Experience in providing a range of pastoral and mental health care services.Willingness to develop and provide training on relevant topics.Recognized professional clinical counselling qualification.Two or more years of post-qualifying clinical practice.Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal communication skills in English.Ability to speak another language and to provide clinical supervision and mentoring is advantageous.Experience of living and working in the country of service is also advantageous.Interserve is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of children.
