About the role
Due to a sharp increase in new high-end Print Production products, we are looking to fill a Field Service Technician position to join our Victorian branch in the South East Print Production team, providing outstanding service and support to our valuable customer base.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and support of Colour and B&W print production equipment and ancillary products with associated software & services solutions.
As a member of the Victorian Southeast Service Team, you will ensure customer satisfaction through on-site Corrective and Preventative maintenance on customer equipment. This role works within a team of dedicated technicians and reports directly to the Service Delivery Manager.
Previous experience in the Print Production industry is highly desirable and will be looked upon favourably, although not essential for the right candidate in a similar industry looking to start their career in a hands-on technical role with fantastic learning and development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills Your strong technical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and professional approach, as well as a positive attitude in dealing with customers are essential attributes for this role. A keen desire to learn and apply new skills will be encouraged in the Konica Minolta environment that fosters continuous employee development. Applicants must possess a very strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proven track record of excellent customer service, ensuring you go above and beyond. Ability to work autonomously, whilst keeping in constant contact with your team to ensure workload is consistent and transparent. Essential requirements for this role: Demonstrated experience in a similar role, minimum 3 years experience. Strong fault-finding skills and technical aptitude ability. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer facing skills. Excellent organisation and time management skills. Current Victorian Driver's License and Working with Children Check. Willingness to work extended hours on standby during the week and weekends as required per a roster. Willingness to travel interstate for training regularly. Current Australian working rights are essential (Visa sponsorship is not available). As per Konica Minolta compliance procedures, the successful candidate will be required to undertake background checks.
