About the role The International Student Support Coordinator is responsible for daily oversight of the International Student Support Team and is pivotal to the coordination of support for international students through the initiation and maintenance of strong working relationships with stakeholders both internal and external. Key responsibilities include:
Managing all contractual, reporting and financial requirements related to Australian Government Scholarship Programs;Providing guidance and advice to support emotionally and physically distraught students through individual appointments and liaison with other UNE Services;Delivering authoritative reports on UNE international student trends and issues to the International Services Manager;Supervision and oversight of the International Student Support Officers.About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
A degree with relevant experience, or a combination of relevant experience and/or education/training;High-level oral and written communication, with demonstrated excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;The ability to supervise and lead staff in the coordination of effective student support;Excellent organisational skills, meeting demanding and competing deadlines while delivering high quality outcomes;The ability to exercise initiative and judgement under pressure in an environment of conflicting priorities while maintaining confidentiality.Enquiries and additional information To discuss this role please contact Ashleigh Dempster, Manager, International Services, phone: 02 6773 2*** email: ******.
