About the Role: Customer Service is our priority and is the driving force behind our vision and values. We are now looking for an enthusiastic International Coordinator to work from our Adelaide office fulltime, who has the ability to listen to and respond to domestic and international clients' service needs.
The International Services Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth Import/Export of client's goods is executed through efficient administration, document control and system maintenance, and will be responsible for servicing Import/Export related queries from both private clients and overseas agents, all the while ensuring that strict Customs requirements are adhered to at all times.
Some of what you will be doing: Manage Import/Export enquiries from both individual private clients and overseas agents. Provide accurate pricing & quotations for phone quotes. Record container movements in a timely manner. Ensure Customs and Quarantine Department requirements are met. Liaise with clients regarding Customs, Quarantine and individual country requirements. Ensure systems are kept updated with relevant information. Accurate and timely invoicing. Reply promptly and efficiently to private clients & overseas agents queries regarding shipments. About you: Ideally, you will have experience in International Importing and/or Exporting of goods. You will have demonstrated success in managing client expectations in a service delivery environment, and an ability to develop strong client and inter-departmental relationships quickly.
What else we are looking for: Demonstrated experience in Imports/Export environment (2+ years). Household goods experience (an advantage). Advanced computer skills. Strong communication skills – verbal, written. Strong relationship building skills including negotiation & conflict resolution skills. Ability to prioritise workloads and meet timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong estimating experience. At least 2 years' experience in a similar role in a medium to large-size company. You may not fit the requirements 100% but that's ok; we focus on training and development.
