Job Description Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute the transportation of goods from suppliers to distribution centers and retail locations.Collaborate with freight forwarders and carriers to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.Ensure compliance with international customs regulations and documentation requirements.Maintain comprehensive records of shipments, tracking information, and customs documentation.Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and freight partners to resolve shipping issues and delays promptly.Monitor and manage freight costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.Evaluate and negotiate freight rates with carriers and logistics providers. The Successful Applicant Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.Proven experience in international freight forwarding within the retail industry.Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and INCO terms.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficient in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
