Future Students Full-time permanent position Base salary will be in the range $78944.4 - $87750.37 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5) Based at our picturesque St Lucia Campus About This Opportunity As the International Admissions Officer you'll play a key role in managing international applications, delivering excellent customer service to students and agents, and supporting the seamless processing of applications. You will report to the International Admissions Manager and work in one of the 5 faculties.
Key responsibilities will include: Respond to inquiries from students and agents within a designated region, providing accurate and supportive service. Assess and process medium-complexity international applications and manage deferrals, ensuring a smooth and compliant admissions experience. Apply relevant legislation, University policies, and procedures to each application. Collaborate with team members to manage workloads efficiently and contribute to continuous process improvements. Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth admissions processes and high service standards. Understanding of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act, National Code, and other relevant legislation. Commitment to the University's Code of Conduct, occupational health and safety practices, and sustainable work practices. About You A degree with subsequent relevant experience; or relevant industry and specialist experience in International admissions. Strong communication and cross-cultural skills to contribute to delivering a high level of customer service to stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to operate with a high level of efficiency in a high volume, high pressure and ever-changing environment. Good knowledge of compliance in international admissions, policies and procedures, with the ability to contribute to continuous process improvements. Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to performance targets related to quality and compliance. Ability to adapt to different and new technology to process a wide range of tasks including streamlining queries and application processing. The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check and education check.
