ABOUT THE ROLE
At Dahlsens, we prioritise our customers more than anything else. As an Internal Sales Team Member, you will be the voice of Dahlsens, providing outstanding service to builders who rely on us for quotes and orders. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the sales process from start to finish, ensuring seamless transactions and exceptional customer experiences. As a valued member of our friendly and positive environment, you will report directly to the Branch Manager and be empowered to always have the customers' best interests. Building strong relationships will be a core aspect of your responsibilities, allowing you to quickly establish a network of connections.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Efficiently process customer orders and quotes via phone and email Prepare accurate and detailed quotes for customer orders Follow up with builders to successfully convert quotes into orders Proactively monitor orders, promptly communicating any delays to builders Review invoices to ensure accuracy at all times Monitor stock levels to effectively meet supply and demand requirements Utilize a cross-selling approach to promote our comprehensive product ranges to builders Maintain a high level of site safety awareness and duty of care for your team, staff, and site visitors Demonstrate a proactive, hands-on attitude with a "can do" approach QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Strong background in delivering exceptional customer service Understanding of the building process and/or knowledge of building materials and timber (preferred) Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Outstanding problem-solving abilities Proficiency with IT systems or a quick learner in adapting to new technology Previous experience working in a warehouse or storage yard PERKS
