Location: Stapylton Qld 4207 (Office Based)

Knotwood operates as a privately held company in Stapylton, Queensland. As the demand for our products continues to rise, we require an additional Internal Sales Representative to join us.
KEY OBJECTIVE
The role of Internal Sales Representative holds significant importance in delivering exceptional support to our customers. Candidates must possess outstanding customer service abilities and a solid understanding of the trade sales process. This position will require prior experience in a trade industry or trade sales. You will be able to read plans with proficiency and perform basic takeoffs. Once you have been trained you will be required to instruct customers on the assembly of our systems. Prior experience in aluminum or powder coating industries is also desirable. 
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Experience in a trade industry/trade sales
- Strong understanding of trade sales process
- Ability to read construction plans
- Proven record selling building products
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- A competitive and motivated drive to meet and exceed your sales target
- Technical knowledge of building products, methods, terminology, installation & details
- Strong organizational skills
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Answering incoming sales inquiries & emails
- Construction plan take-offs, to provide quotes to customers
- Training and working with customers on how best to use our systems
- Follow up on all sales inquiries and quotes
- Identify new and nurture existing relationships with our customer base
- Training customers to use our online software for placing orders and tracking the progress of existing orders and tracking freight
- Additional sales tasks set by the Internal Sales Manager
REQUIRED HOURS
38 Hours per week.
Remuneration
Salary is dependent on your skill set and experience.
