APS5 equivalent $55+p/h + super Located in Brisbane, Queensland About the Team he Reviews Branch is the primary unit for managing and resolving reviews and complaints.
Our team collaborates closely with participants, providers, internal staff, and external agencies to ensure that review processes are timely, transparent, and aligned with the Service Charter.
The RB is dedicated to enhancing participants' experiences, supporting them through internal reviews, and consistently upholding the Agency's reputation through thoughtful and well-communicated decisions.
About the Role As an APS5 Review Officer, you will undertake moderately complex to complex work under limited supervision.
Using established policies, legislation, standards, and procedures, you will work both independently and as part of a team.
Where required, you may also lead and support lower-level team members, helping set priorities and allocate tasks to meet the branch's objectives.
This role requires a proactive approach to managing caseloads, understanding participant needs, and ensuring reviews are handled efficiently and fairly.
Engage with participants to gather relevant information about review requests, providing clear communication on decisions, review outcomes, and appeals processes.
Conduct evidence-based decision-making aligned with relevant acts, rules, operational guidelines, and policies.
Effectively monitor and manage caseloads to ensure reviews are completed within set timeframes.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, practice, and systems.
About you To thrive in this role, you need: Strong ability to communicate with participants and gather detailed information to support informed decision-making.
Proficiency in evidence-based decision-making as guided by applicable acts, policies, and guidelines.
Excellent caseload management skills, with a focus on meeting timelines and providing timely resolutions.
Commitment to contributing to ongoing quality improvements for processes and participant experiences.
Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
Must be an Australian Citizen.
