Jobs/Responsibilities As Council's Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of high quality and cost-effective community engagement strategies.
Responsibilities include: Ensuring change management impacts to community are understood, communicated and managed appropriatelyDeveloping and implementing initiatives to drive improvements to engagement strategies.Provide advice and assist with the development of the Community Strategic PlanTake initiatives to ensure relationships are maintained and Council's reputation is upheldPromote innovative engagement programs across Council.Skills/Experience To be successful in this position you will need:
Relevant qualifications in Communications or similarCurrent Driver's LicenceAbility to obtain a satisfactory Criminal Record CheckExperience in a similar roleHigh level communication skills both verbal and writtenDemonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders including the public, media, community organisations, local businesses and government departmentsWhat can we offer?
