Overview: One of our long-standing clients is seeking an experienced Finance professional to assist the CFO and the Internal Audit team.
Responsibilities:

Review the Finance Department activities, including:

Financial Services
Tax
Treasury
Corporate Finance
Risk Management

Develop an internal control framework aligned with the enterprise risk management framework.
Review the concepts of the first, second, and third line of defence.
Assess the control requirements outlined in the Internal Audit Manual to evaluate internal control maturity.
Complete the drafting of key policies and procedures.
Commence process mapping across the Finance Department of key areas.
Identify control weaknesses and opportunities to improve controls.
Create efficiencies, ensure data accuracy, and identify opportunities through digital investment.

You will have a Finance and Accounting background but have most recently been involved with internal control review and process improvement. This is a contract role starting ASAP.
