In this role you will develop new ideas on how to leverage our communication channels, with robust strategic planning skills and an ability to build engagement opportunities through quality internal communications aimed at Powerlink leaders and our workforce.
Specifically, you will:
Coordinate key internal communication programs and projects, including leader communications and staff engagement initiatives.Develop and implement strategic communication plans.Develop content for internal channels, support corporate events, and ensure alignment with organisational goals.Facilitate presentation, public speaking or storytelling training for leaders and key staff.Continuously improve communication channels to support changing strategic objectives.**N.B. This is a 13-month maximum term contract to cover a period of parental leave** The community you will joinBased in Brisbane, you will report to the Internal Communications Manager, forming part of the broader Communications, Customer and Engagement Group. Your expertiseYou will hold a degree in Communications or a related discipline and possess significant experience in strategy development and management of internal communications within a medium-sized, complex business.
You will have advanced facilitation skills and a proven track record in developing structured project plans, delivering projects, and managing risks effectively. Additionally, you will have experience in using multifaceted internal communication channels, including digital technology and strategic events. Knowledge of the electricity industry is desirable.
