Internal Communications (Marketing & Communications) An exciting opportunity to join UnitingSA's high performing Marketing, Communications and Partnerships team as the Internal Communications Lead.
This is a pivotal role in the organisation providing strategic advice on internal communications and growing employee engagement.
You are an experienced internal communications specialist and excel at ensuring employees are connected to and engaged with the organisation.
Your strong writing skills allow you to create captivating but succinct content that effectively resonates with time poor employees across various locations.
You thrive under pressure and ambiguity and can switch from big picture planning to urgent employee communications, whilst also managing the fluidity of internal communications for large organisational projects.
Building connections with people is key - your effective stakeholder management skills will enable you to establish positive relationships quickly.
Your ability to influence and negotiate effectively with Executive members, senior managers and people leaders across the organisation will be an asset.

The role offers either full-time or part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement an internal communications strategy.
Create a best-in-class internal communications function across the organisation that fuels employee engagement, influences connectivity and culture, positively impacting all office locations.
Develop cross-platform communication materials using a variety of tactics (written communications, visual creative, presentation materials, Teams and other platforms, small group meetings, etc.)
to articulate key messages.
Develop and deliver communications plans for all major projects including significant Digital Transformation and employee engagement projects, including written content for various channels and purposes.
Uses internal tools as appropriate to maximise our internal communication effectiveness and ensures consistent messaging, branding, imagery and identity.
Support leaders in writing and editing impactful and engaging content that effectively describes and promotes key organisational priorities including employer value proposition, diversity & inclusion, professional development, and other programs and initiatives in support of organisational goals and culture.
Lead in the planning, coordination and execution of internal employee events as needed and appropriate.
Skills & Experience Minimum 5+ years in a similar position in a large organisation.
Demonstrated experience in leading internal communications projects, including the development and delivery of cross-platform communications plans and tactical execution and measurement.
Extensive writing experience and ability to quickly adapt writing style to the tone of voice and style of the CEO and organisation.
Strong capability and proven experience in producing high-quality, engaging content to a professional standard.
Project management capability and first-hand involvement in initiating, planning, executing and measuring internal communications for multiple projects of various sizes and stages.
Proven ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision Proficiency in the use of marketing and communications platforms (e.g.
project management tools, campaign monitor, employee applications, SharePoint).
Experience working with Executive Management teams, senior managers and people leaders.
