An exciting opportunity to join UnitingSA's highperforming Marketing, Communications and Partnerships team as theInternal Communications Lead. This is a pivotal role in theorganisation providing strategic advice on internal communicationsand growing employee engagement.
You are an experienced internal communications specialist andexcel at ensuring employees are connected to and engaged with theorganisation. Your strong writing skills allow you to createcaptivating but succinct content that effectively resonates withtime poor employees across various locations.
You thrive under pressure and ambiguity and can switch from bigpicture planning to urgent employee communications, whilst alsomanaging the fluidity of internal communications for largeorganisational projects.
Building connections with people is key - your effectivestakeholder management skills will enable you to establish positiverelationships quickly. Your ability to influence and negotiateeffectively with Executive members, senior managers and peopleleaders across the organisation will be an asset.

The role offerseither full-time or part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement an internal communicationsstrategy.Create a best-in-class internal communications functionacross the organisation that fuels employee engagement,influences connectivity and culture, positively impacting alloffice locations.Develop cross-platform communication materials using avariety of tactics (written communications, visual creative,presentation materials, Teams and other platforms, small groupmeetings, etc.) to articulate key messages.Develop and deliver communications plans for all majorprojects including significant Digital Transformation andemployee engagement projects, including written content forvarious channels and purposes.Uses internal tools as appropriate to maximise our internalcommunication effectiveness and ensures consistent messaging,branding, imagery and identity.Support leaders in writing and editing impactful andengaging content that effectively describes and promotes keyorganisational priorities including employer value proposition,diversity & inclusion, professional development, and otherprograms and initiatives in support of organisational goals andculture.Lead in the planning, coordination and execution ofinternal employee events as needed and appropriate.Skills & Experience Minimum 5+ years in a similar position in a largeorganisation.Demonstrated experience in leading internal communicationsprojects, including the development and delivery ofcross-platform communications plans and tactical execution andmeasurement.Extensive writing experience and ability to quickly adaptwriting style to the tone of voice and style of the CEO andorganisation.Strong capability and proven experience in producinghigh-quality, engaging content to a professional standard.Project management capability and first-hand involvement ininitiating, planning, executing and measuring internalcommunications for multiple projects of various sizes andstages.Proven ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines withminimal supervisionProficiency in the use of marketing and communicationsplatforms (e.g. project management tools, campaign monitor,employee applications, SharePoint).Experience working with Executive Management teams, seniormanagers and people leaders.In return, you will work in a compassionate, respectful and justcommunity in which all people participate and flourish.
