We're seeking a creative and strategic Internal Communications Advisor to help take our employee communications to the next level. You will be a storyteller at heart, with a blend of written and digital expertise. Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager, you will be responsible for implementing internal communications for RAC. You will partner with teams to provide strategic direction and advice on best practice to communicate and connect with RAC people. You will be a "go to" for coordinating internal communications channels, including producing content.
We are offering a permanent, full-time role, primarily based in our West Perth office, as well as the opportunity to work from home.
What will you be doing? Creating and delivering organisation-wide internal communications in a variety of formats, written and visual.Partnering with diverse business units to support internal communication needs. Be seen as a solutions-focused communications specialist.Contributing to SharePoint intranet management, content writing and editing, and site maintenance.Keeping your writing skills sharp by crafting varied internal communications materials.Providing advice and counsel to stakeholders on communication and intranet best practice – you're the expert!Contributing to the schedule of Group communication.What are we looking for in you? Be innovative, passionate, and able to think outside the square as you build strong relationships across the organisation.Have experience in corporate communications, ideally within a similar size organisation.A content expert – identify and craft compelling stories for a diverse audience.Experience developing communication plans and campaigns with a focus on internal communication.Ability to think quickly and strategically in response to sensitive or urgent communications.The ability to distil complex ideas and present them in an engaging and easy to understand way.Super organised with solid planning skills and the ability to execute the work within tight time frames.Tertiary qualifications in media studies, communications, public relations or journalism.What can we offer you?
