Description
This is an exciting role to take the next step in your career and reshape the audit activities for a growing company in the super industry.
Job specification
Develop annual internal audit plan for Apex Superannuation Entities
Develop audit reports and present to management and appropriate committees
Act as liaison between external SOC auditor, Client Auditors and internal functions
Manage audit findings and work with business on process improvements
Monitor adherence to and manage annual accreditation process for ISO 27001
Work with business to document and update internal controls
Skills Required:
Formal qualifications in a relevant field (Audit; Accounting; Business, or Finance)
Membership of Professional Accounting body CPA, CA, IPAA or Membership of Institute of Internal Auditors
RG146 in Superannuation or ability to rapidly gain qualification
Previous experience working in the Superannuation Industry and the provision of audit services
Strong understanding of Financial Services Industry, with knowledge of key legislation and regulatory environment
Ability to work independently and as a team to successfully meet contractual requirements
Analytical thinker with ability to comprehend legislative and regulatory requirements and assess practical implications
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at all organisational levels, including executive management and board levels
