What role will you play?As an Internal Audit Manager, you will contribute to the assessments of the quality and effectiveness of Macquarie's internal control framework, risk management and governance systems.
In this role, you will lead or assist in the delivery of group-wide Market Operations audits covering a range of business support services including trade validation, payments and settlements, corporate actions, reconciliations and regulatory reporting.
You will play a critical role safeguarding our organisation's digital assets by delivering across all areas of the audit lifecycle such as planning, fieldwork, and reporting of findings.
While your primary focus will be in Market Operations, you will also have the opportunity to complete audits in other areas within the broader portfolio.
What you offerExperience in a comparable audit or risk management role including experience auditing Operations functions.Experience working in financial services will be advantageous including knowledge of key regulatory standards.Strong verbal and written communication, resilience and problem-solving skills with a questioning mindset.Open and positive approach to engaging with senior stakeholders and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Ability to work independently and autonomously.About the Risk Management GroupOur Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks.
