Is this your next role?
You will primarily be responsible for executing business audits, regulatory compliance reviews, project assurance reviews and targeted/thematic risk reviews across all Heartland Bank's product portfolios.
It provides valuable insights to enhance governance and risk management while facilitating collaboration with management and the Board.
You'll also highlight innovative approaches to support the Head of Internal Audit in achieving our strategic objectives.

You're an experienced internal auditor with banking or professional services experience.
You display excellent critical thinking skills and have an enquiring mind prepared to thoroughly investigate issues.
Happy to flex, you work at a fast pace.
You're a pro with:
Understanding of the Australian Banking/ Financial Services Industry and its regulatory regime.Effective communication skills are necessary to navigate diverse environments, enabling successful negotiation and influence over outcomes.Good verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to develop sound relationships with stakeholders.Knowledge of CPS 220 and CPS 230, prudential and regulatory compliance, product design/distribution, and complaints handling would be beneficial.Furthermore, technical expertise in Retail Banking, and Technology/Cyber Security is highly valued.A bit about us and what we do
