You will be responsible for coordinating and managing a range of activities to support the department's Internal Audit and Risk Section to deliver functions in a project-based environment. The role includes liaising with internal auditors and key stakeholders, assisting with preparations for Audit and Risk Committee meetings, tracking the implementation of audit recommendations, and supporting the team to monitor the progress of internal audits.The key duties of the position include:Assisting in the coordination of various activities related to the delivery of Internal Audit and Risk functions.Managing the Internal Audit group inbox and responding to enquiries from business areas and stakeholders in a timely manner.Monitoring, updating and reporting on Audit Recommendations.Assisting to draft briefings for the Audit and Risk Committee.Creating dashboards and surveys in SharePoint to communicate audit and risk data to various audiences.Managing content on the intranet.Undertaking administrative record keeping functions using Content Manager and/or SharePoint.Employment at the Department of Education is subject to conditions prescribed within the Public Service Act 1999 including:Citizenship: Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the APS unless the Agency delegate has agreed, in writing.Security Clearance: This is a designated security assessed position.
