We are seeking a motivated and passionate Intern/Provisional Psychologist on behalf of our client, a reputable healthcare provider.
This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual currently pursuing registration as a psychologist, offering hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments under supervision, utilizing a range of diagnostic tools and techniques.
Provide therapeutic interventions and counseling services to clients, in alignment with evidence-based practices.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the needs of each client, with guidance from a supervising psychologist.
Engage in case formulation and contribute to case discussions as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Participate in regular supervision sessions and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary qualification in Psychology and eligibility for AHPRA registration; Experience or interest in working with people with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues and / or experiences of trauma who have complex needs; Experience or interest in providing clinical and /or behaviour assessment, intervention and support in the disability, out-of-home care, and / or other relevant sectors.
Strong interest in developing clinical skills and gaining practical experience in a supervised setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.

Annual salary of $70-75k + super + $12k travel allowance Due to the nature of our business, it is required that our staff (for all positions): have a current Driver's license; have a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening, or the ability to attain these checks.
