Our client is seeking a full-time intermediate accountant who is ready to contribute to the success of their exciting and growing firm.

They provide SMSF, business compliance, taxation and advisory services to a wide range of clients including start-ups, established companies, large enterprises and high-net-worth individuals.
THE OPPORTUNITY A steady flow of new clients has resulted in the firm's growth of 20 + staff therefore, they are seeking an Intermediate Accountant - Business Services to join their highly motivated team.
As a Business Services Accountant, you will be exposed to a wide range of clients from various industries with complex business services needs and be given ample opportunities for professional development.
You will be directly involved with clients and diverse and interesting projects, further developing your tax and accounting skills and career.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supporting Partners and Senior Accountants with serving business services clients with taxation and business advisory services Completing tax compliance work for all entities Building & maintaining strong professional relationships with clients EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 2+ years' experience in business services/tax within an Australian Chartered or Public Accounting firm Completed a bachelor's degree in accounting/commerce or similar tertiary qualification CPA/CA qualified or studying towards Competent IT user, with experience with accounting software such as XERO, MYOB, Reckon, QuickBooks, APS or similar Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and maintain the highest client service standards Well-developed interpersonal skills and professional verbal and written communication skills Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team Possess a positive and willing-to-help attitude Self-starter with the ability to develop solutions THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Have a hybrid work option, work from a Gold Coast-based office and at home with IT support Enjoy working in a supportive and collaborative work environment that values teamwork and innovation Receive ongoing professional development and training opportunities with allowance and paid study leave Be rewarded with a competitive attractive salary package and performance-based incentives Receive paid community service leave Be given access to an EAP / wellness program Enjoy easy parking and access to the office Be eligible for extra annual leave after qualifying period ????
