Intermediate/Senior Accountant – Oilfield Piping Systems are a small to medium sized manufacturing company, suppling equipment to the energy resource sector.
We are seeking candidates with experience in a similar role, as the Intermediate/Senior Accountant you will play a key role in providing support to the Operations team while working alongside the General Manager.
The position is based in Toowoomba (Oilfield Piping Manufacturing facility - Torrington), this is a full-time position, and you will benefit from flexible working hours.
You should possess the following attributes:
Knowledge of Xero payroll Accounts knowledge Good Excel skills and general computer skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management and problem-solving skills Positive attitude and the ability to work promptly. As an Accounts all-rounder your main duties will be:
Expedite the weekly payroll for around 25 people – Always processed on Monday morning. Entering Bills into Xero, running aged payables and loading payments on the bank ready for approval Following up Aged Receivables Reconciling credit card transactions on Hubdoc and reconciling credit cards Reconciling of all bank accounts Be the main point of contact for any suppliers. Purchase orders Running Xero reports as required Ostendo (MRP) – Inventory management/purchase and sale transactions Foreign Exchange transactions Managing Intercompany Portfolios Competitive remuneration.
