My client is a growing firm that provide all-encompassing services to individuals and businesses looking to set-up operations in Australia.
The companies' key offerings include corporate compliance, resident director services, tax & accounting, and trust & SMSF formation.
Their clients are extremely diverse and can involve everything from mum and dad businesses to VC backed start-ups, and large multinationals.
In recent years they have grown from a small family-run company to a team of 20, with a physical presence across Australia & The UK.
The MD has a very entrepreneurial mindset and has established a strong network and growth pipeline.
The Accounting & Tax team has been the fastest growing in the business.
Over the past 2 years they have built out team here in Sydney, with a growing headcount of 6 accountants at present.
As a business they principally use Xero, and have almost all clients integrated into this software.
The firm has 99% of their clients on fixed monthly fees and therefore don't use time-sheets!
In this position you will working with a Manager & Senior Manager to look after the compliance requirements of a portfolio.
This will include accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll services.
Your role will work closely with both offshore resources (1-2 in Philippines), the bookkeeping team (who have their own team leader), and other Accountants based in Australia.
You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to cross-border and international tax issues like transfer pricing.
As the business continues to grow there is ample opportunity for your role to evolve, with the view to move upwards into a management position.

Key duties include: Preparation and lodgement of income tax returns and FBT returns Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS Communicating with clients and managing expectations Assisting clients with software implementation and training The ideal candidate will: Possess CA or CPA qualification (or be working towards) Hold an accoutning relevant tertiary degree Be proficient in Xero and MYOB software Have 3 + years accounting experience in a role servicing clients Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be great at multi-tasking and be someone able to think on their feet To apply for this role please email your resume to ****** quoting reference number AB13046.
