You will also have exposure to a diverse range of clients and their tax and accounting needs to further develop your career and experience.About the RoleAs an Intermediate Accountant you will work closely with partners and team members of the firm to provide business, accounting and taxation services. Based on your level of experience, your dutieswill include, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities:Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for all entity types including trusts, companies, partnerships, individuals and smsf'sPreparation of activity statementsPreparation of other statutory returns including Fringe Benefits tax, Payroll Tax and Land TaxLiaising with the Tax Office and other government agenciesAssist with tax planning and advisory projectsWorking with accounting software - Xero/Intuit/MYOB/Simple Fund 360Research on various tax issuesSkills, Capabilities and experience2-5 years' business services experience in an Australian Public Practice Accounting FirmBachelor Degree in Commerce or equivalentMoving towards or have completed theCA/CPA programHave excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong commitment to quality service and client relationshipsGood problem solving skills and embrace modern technologiesBe a highly motivated and proactive self-starterBe eager to learn, grow and further your careerThe BenefitsYou will have all the tools you need to excel - established systems, pleasant surroundings, and a happy and productive workplace.
