Intermediate Accountant

The ClientBased in Brisbane's CBD, my client, a well-respected Accounting Firm, is experiencing rapid team expansion.
Offering a range of Accounting and Advisory services, their goal is to make their clients' experience as enjoyable as possible.The RoleAs an Intermediate Accountant, you will ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial guidance for a diverse client portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements and tax returns for various entities, playing a key role in providing financial clarity.Key Responsibilities:Prepare BAS/IAS, financial statements, and tax returnsAssist with managing a portfolio of clientsAttend client meetings and assist with tax planningAssist with mentoring graduate accountantsProvide business advisory work to clientsKey Skills & Requirements:2 to 5 years public practice accounting experience is essentialCA or CPA qualifiedTechnical knowledge of Div7a, GST & TaxKnowledge of accounting software including Xero or MYOBExcellent attention to detail and financial acumenStrong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)Benefits:Up to $90K plus super (depending on experience)Flexible working arrangementsSocial team environment (birthday celebrations, EOFY, Christmas, Melbourne Cup, quarterly team events)Ongoing career opportunities & developmentIf you'd like to know more information about the role and company, then please contact Milli Hargreaves at ******.
