The role
The position reports to the two Directors and is responsible for providing accounting support to clients, with the opportunity to supervise a Junior Accountant. This role is ideal for a well-rounded Intermediate Accountant who is committed to advancing their professional development and eager to grow with the firm.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Prepare tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, partnerships and SMSFsPrepare financial reports such as BASAct as an effective point of contact for clientsKeep up to date with standards and regulations for complianceSupervise Junior Accountants from time-to-timeLiaise with the ATO and other third parties when required What do you need to succeed? Proven experience working in an Accounting position ideally from public practiceExperience with MYOB or XeroEagerness to succeed and grow within a companyStrong attention to detail and interpersonal skillsConfidence in speaking with clients
