Role responsibilities The role will allow you to showcase your skills, with client facing opportunities and the chance to be a part of our strategic business service offering.
Preparation of financial accounts and income tax returns for a range of entities, including identifying tax-sensitive items in profit and loss/balance sheets to trial balance. Technical responsibilities including tax and BAS reconciliations using Proforma spreadsheet, tax planning recommendations, identification of tax issues, navigating the Tax Agent Portal, and expertise in Div 7a, FBT, and CGT. Active involvement in strategic management accounting tools and advice to support our growing client base. Delivers proactive communication across all levels with clarity and agreed expectations and deliverables. Contributes to the development of Graduate Accountants through on the job coaching. Business or Commerce Graduate (Accounting Major) who's embarked on your CA or CPA qualifications, and ready to tackle new challenge. 1-4 years of experience in Australian Public Practice. Experienced in servicing SME clients and high net worth individuals, and you're a gun at preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and superannuation funds. Intermediate to advanced software skills in accounting packages and Microsoft Office packages Excellent communicator and comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels.
