Location: Brisbane Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + Super Vibrant & social team Our client, a leading business advisory firm, is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join a close-knit, dynamic team with a stellar track record of employee retention.
About the Role In this role, you'll work directly with senior accountants and managers to deliver high-quality services to clients, including financial reporting, tax returns, and financial forecasting.
You'll handle some face-to-face client interactions and support medico clients (doctors, dentists, pharmacists) with specialized financial needs.
This position is for a self-starter who's experienced in preparing financial statements, skilled with MYOB or QuickBooks, and progressing through CA/CPA studies.
What You'll Do * Prepare accurate financial statements, tax returns, and reports for a diverse client base * Conduct research to resolve client-specific tax and compliance issues * Build strong relationships and provide professional, high-quality client service * Take responsibility for your own schedule and progress, with accountability for meeting deadlines What We're Looking For * 2-4 years of experience in an accounting role, confident in financial statements preparation * Currently studying or planning to complete CA/CPA * Strong understanding of Australian tax and compliance regulations, GST, and CGT calculations * Great communicator, with strong interpersonal skills and team spirit * Experience in medical client accounting (advantageous but not essential) Why Join?
