Intermediate Accountant

We are a growing Accounting Practice where our staff enjoy a friendly, professional working environment.We combine the experience of a large organisation with the approachability of a smaller more personal environment that offers a unique blend of advice and experience.Our firm offers a wide range of business services and information to fulfil our client's requirements.This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to assist driving our clients and business's forward through innovative solutions.Duties include:Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSF.Preparation of business activity statements.Preparation of income tax returns for individuals.Exposure to a variety of tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7a.Tax Planning & dealing with key tax issues.Maintaining clients' asset register, adjusting journals, and reconciliations.Working on large Corporates, SME's, and Large Family Groups.Liaising heavily with clients & external agencies.Qualifications:Minimum Degree Qualified.Skills, Knowledge & Experience:Ideally 2+ years of experience in a similar role.Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks Experience.Sage Handisoft (well regarded).Advanced Excel skills with experience in Microsoft Office suite.Professional Attributes:Highly attentive to detail.High energy and enthusiasm, with a strong commitment to exceeding client expectations.Flexibility and openness to work on a variety of assignments.Confidence and ability to effectively demonstrate skills and knowledge.Team player with a desire to be an active, long-term participant in the growth of the Firm.Time Management and Dedicated Work Ethic.
