Intermediary Program Administration OfficerThe ACT Intermediary Program is seeking a motivated and experienced individual for a period of up to 12 months to join the team in an administration officer capacity. The role reports to the Senior Director and Director of the Program and further supports the work of intermediaries in the ACT.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Highly Desirable: Qualifications in law, social work, psychology or other related disciplines.Experience working with stakeholders in the ACT criminal justice system.Experience working with people with a diverse range of communication and/or developmental needs including First Nations people, people from a multicultural background, children, young people, people with a disability and older people would be highly regarded.Please note, this role includes significant exposure to traumatic and explicit content, including direct client contact with victim-survivors of violent crime relating to serious criminal matters, including child and adult sexual offences and homicide. The role will also involve engagement and direct contact with people accused of serious criminal matters.
Note: This is a temporary position available 12 December 2024 until 12 December 2025 with the possibility of permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
