The role
This is an exciting career growth opportunity that will allow you to take ownership of components feeding into mid to large scale interior design projects, supporting the Project Leader. You will have a positive, and professional attitude towards clients and fellow co-workers.
You will be an all-rounder with an eye for design, evident in your well put together portfolio. You will be an excellent communicator and collaborative team-member. The ability to design and document independently is essential to securing this role.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Collaborate with senior Architects and Interior Designers in the design and delivery of the project. Prepare spatial planning, test fit and schematic design schemes. Prepare design development presentations and documentation. Liaise with engineering services and specialist sub consultants. Prepare reports and documentation packages (including drawings, schedules and specifications) across each phase of the project. Coordinate with clients, consultants and suppliers as required. Monitor and mitigate project risks and escalate where necessary. Assist the Project Leader in maintaining high-quality design and delivery outcomes. Maintain an awareness of all matters relevant to the design and production of the deliverables for the project. Ensure the project is conducted in a way that maintains Woods Bagot professionalism and skill. About you
As a successful candidate, you will have experience working with a collaborative, creative, and resourceful team. You will possess specialized experience in the design and construction of interior design and architectural projects.
You will be able to demonstrate:
4+ years' experience working in the Interior Design/Architecture field. Hold a Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture. Experience in leading a small to mid size project, or a significant package on a large scale project with supervision. Demonstrated high-quality communication and presentation skills. Solid knowledge of the Adobe suite (InDesign & Photoshop essential). Enscape skills and additional rendering software programs an advantage. Demonstrate sound skills in overarching concept design to design development and design delivery. Ability to visually communicate a project's design intent and concept narrative for report submissions and presentations to Client. Ability to co-ordinate, and deliver a documentation set suitable to the project phase. Technical knowledge and ability to develop fit out details and take the design through to documentation an advantage. Benefits we Offer
