Interior Designer

FK is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our Melbourne team.
We are an award-winning architecture and interior design firm with studios in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane delivering landmark developments across Australia and in Asia. We've designed one of the tallest, most recognisable pair of buildings, the second-tallest skyscraper in the world and the largest private museum in the southern hemisphere, among others.
Structures aside, we're equally proud of the culture we've built here at FK. Which is why we aim to hire people who share the same passion for design and the built environment as they do for teamwork and collaboration.
Our ideal candidate, as an Interior Designer, will demonstrate effective collaboration with project team members at all levels to deliver high-quality interior design solutions. They will acquire a deep understanding of project deliverables, quality standards, and timeframes, utilizing software tools such as Revit, Photoshop, and InDesign proficiently. With strong conceptual design skills, the successful candidate will be able to communicate and present their ideas clearly through design presentations and drawings. They will embrace the varied roles expected of an Interior Designer across FK's project portfolio, proactively identifying project risks and collaborating with external consultants to ensure optimal outcomes for clients. Upholding FK's BIM protocols and documentation standards, they will take accountability for all work produced, ensuring it is meticulously finished and double-checked before submission. Additionally, they will actively engage in career progression and growth opportunities while completing all administrative tasks accurately and on time.
This exciting career opportunity is a permanent role within a creative and busy studio offering plenty of scope for learning and achievement for passionate people.
Applicants should be suitably qualified, with a Bachelor of Interior Design or equivalent education, and have over 4 years' experience in a professional environment.
We look forward to receiving your CV, portfolio and cover letter via ******. Please note you must have the right to work in Australia to apply.
