The Acquire Group has been exclusively appointed to source an Interim Financial Controller for this high calibre 2b Group.
In short, this is a hands-on FC role suited to an immediately available hands-on FC looking to offer their technical skills over a contract, providing "uplift" to the current team and capable resource to the current Head of Controls.
You will not only be offering accounting support, but as a seasoned operator, you will have the gravitas and experience to "get things done!
"
You will come equipped with full financial controls capability, with the ideal candidate coming with a strong financial accounting/controls background and the capacity to apply these in a commercial environment.
Ideally, you will have recent BIG 4 exposure and the capacity to solve complex operational "problems".
The CFO is looking for someone who can deliver a new and sharper controls operation coupled with the capacity to lead and inspire the team.
Major responsibilities will include:
Coordinate, direct and publish timely monthly financial statements
Achieve results through the finance team by providing strong leadership, mentorship, and motivation
Coordinate and monitor the company's cash flow including working capital and hedging requirements
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls and gain efficiencies
Continually look for ways to streamline and simplify processes
Manage, mentor, and develop members of the Finance Team
Coordinate the preparation of statutory reporting
Maintain relationships with various stakeholders
Oversee administrative functions
Special projects as required, including assisting with future acquisitions
CA/CPA qualified, you commenced your career within the Chartered accounting environment or have excellent technical accounting skills.
You will also have demonstrated extensive experience in a commercial finance role within complex commercial environments.
Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills give you the confidence to engage and influence those above and below you and across the organisation.
