Our client is a Microsoft SOE and develops Microsoft SQL Server Cloud solutions, with a full continuum of services around Microsoft SQL Server's integrated suite of Applications, Platform services, and Engineered Systems.
As a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator, you will provide Technical Database Administration across a wide range of Applications and Instances locally in Victoria and play a key role in the Azure technical practice.

Data Analytics Technical and Experience Required
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Database Administrator, with Implementations, Upgrades, Migrations, conversions, and consolidation Projects with Microsoft SQL Server Databases. Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2022 on VM Database on Windows Platforms. Take ownership of problems, incidents, and Project work. Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of Database Administration. Have a good working understanding of Core SQL DBA Architecture, Backups/Recovery, and Performance Tuning exercises. Experience in coordinating and working with the Business to understand the Requirements and design the Architecture accordingly, resolving issues if any. Must be a strong team player and able to work closely with other Technical specialists and Team members. Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment. Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication. Excellent problem-solving and Performance Tuning skills. Design & Build specific Database environments to meet Business requirements. Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements. Must have experience with Microsoft SQL Server Always On / HADR. Strong Analytical skills and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions. Highly Desirable Skills
PowerBI PowerShell T-SQL Where is the role heading in the future?
SQL Server Database Administration including all SQL HA and DR Technologies. Install and Configuration of SQL DB engine, SSIS, SSAS & SSRS. SQL Performance Tuning & investigation. SQL Server Upgrades, Downgrades, and Migrations (In place / Side by Side upgradation). SQL Patching. SQL Encryption (TDE). SQL Log shipping, Database Mirroring Replication, and Always On. More Azure SQL Database Administration with On Prem, Azure Pass, Azure managed Instances. More SQL Server Migration from On-Prem to Cloud based assets like Azure Pass. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
