Interaction Design Experts exercise a considerable degree of independence and undertake a leadership role, with work being performed under the broad direction of senior staff.
They manage detailed projects or programs and develop and manage relationships with stakeholders.
In performing a leadership role, they develop future direction and strategies to drive innovation and changes in workplace practices.
Key duties may include, but are not limited to: lead projects through strategy, iterations and development by inspiring process, and direction of project work and apply user centred design/user experience design (UX) methodology to deliver enterprise outcomes and improvements to stakeholder and user lead and advocate for user research throughout the apply qualitative and quantitative user research to understand and define current and future user needs, behaviours and plan and scope projects, according to user needs, business needs and design lead creation/updates to relevant UI design patterns, frameworks and governance (including application of branding) lead the design of assets such as user flows, prototypes, wireframes and other assets for proof of concept and usability lead staff undertaking rapid and iterative prototyping using agency prototyping tools.
