We are recruiting to a number of roles:
International Engagement - supports our seniors in delivering DIO's international engagement strategy and building relationships with key intelligence partners. You will:
Manage a team to plan and conduct DIO senior international engagements, providing advice on engagement objectives and developing communication packs. Lead development of DIO's international engagement strategy, policies and plans, and support prioritisation and coordination of DIO's international engagement agenda. Represent DIO in engagement across Defence, the Australian Government, and with foreign partners. Advise DIO on third-party release of information to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and policy. Develop DIO policies and guidance for the conduct of international events and travel.
Customer Engagement - supports DIO in understanding our customers across government. They liaise with senior stakeholders to refine requirements to align with DIO's mandate and coordinate DIO responses. You will:
Manage a team to facilitate the delivery of intelligence support to DIO's senior customers. Lead DIO's engagement with a variety of senior stakeholders to understand requirements, and represent DIO equities with Defence and the Australian Government. Develop and deliver DIO's Customer Engagement Strategy in support of DIO's priorities and requirements.
A merit pool of highly suitable candidates will be established to fill EL 1 vacancies that occur in the Intelligence Mission Assurance Branch within the next 18 months.
This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.
