We are proud of the incredible work our +11,000 employees do providing support, giving hope, and providing opportunities for a better life.We are expanding our operations in Australia and are currently recruiting an Intelligence Manager.The key purpose of the Intelligence Manager is to provide timely intelligence to Senior Management and relevant stakeholders in order to reduce risk and support informed decision making across the centre. You will play a key role in the development, coordination and management of the security and intelligence collection plan, manage and lead the members of the Centre intelligence team. You will provide direction and inspirational leadership to the intelligence business unit and play an active role in promoting intelligence activities across the centre. You will form part of the senior leadership team by partnering closely with senior key stakeholders to provide security intelligence advice and participate as a member of the Centre Security Committee.In your new role, you will:Have proven senior management experience in the intelligence function either within detention, immigration, corrections or regional processing or resettlement services.Hold formal qualifications in immigration/corrections/security/intelligence management or related field.Be a highly experienced people leader with proven experience overseeing complex training programs.Understand the intelligence discipline on matters which affect the security and good order of a secure environment even those on escort.Hold a high level of resilience with the ability to problem solve and make timely, informed and reasoned decisions.Have demonstrated experience working with sensitive and confidential information.Have proven experience in the use of information management systems.Have a natural ability to influence, negotiate and take the lead to resolve conflict.Be able to work collectively across the greater team to maintain the safety and security across the centre.ABOUT YOUWe are looking for an experienced leader with the highest level of personal integrity who demonstrates Secure Journey's values and is passionate about making a positive difference every day.
