Your role: As an Intelligence Analyst in the Army, you will provide intelligence support that assist commanders in their decision-making process. Gaining advantage over an enemy by having superior intelligence has always played a critical role in successful military operations. You'll be responsible for acquiring, processing and analysing intelligence before effectively communicating it.
You'll be trained to use cutting-edge technology to receive, process and analyse the strategic and operational data that enables your commanders to make well-informed operational decisions. The sources of this information will include operations, surveillance, electronic warfare, satellite imagery, and psychological operations.
Intelligence Analysts are also employed in specialist intelligence units that provide support to the Australian Defence Force in fields such as:

Salary: Upon commencing training, your starting salary will be approximately $56,385 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation and your pay will increase as you progress through training.
On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you'll enjoy a package starting from $84,710 per annum.

Be at least 17 years of age when you enter the ADFHave completed an Australian Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English and Mathematics Be an Australian citizen.
