About the Role
As an Intellectual Property Lawyer, you will be immersed in a variety of tasks that will challenge and expand your legal knowledge. Your role will involve: Working directly with the IP partner on both front and back-end IP matters. Front end work including filing trademark applications and managing prosecution of trademarks in Australia and internationally. Back-end work including disputes and litigation concerning IP claims and related confidential information and ACL claims. Handling IP disputes and litigation, including trademarks, patents, designs, and copyright. General IP and commercial work. About You
1-3 years PQE with demonstrated interest or experience in IP matters ideally from a top tier/national or mid-tier firm. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent legal drafting and written and verbal communication skills. Well-developed organisation, time management and project management skills. Experience in managing client matters, taking instructions from clients and engaging with clients and other advisors. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
