People and Business Services is a Group within the Department of Transport and Planning, and is responsible for enabling people and corporate services functions, to drive a high-performance culture and to support integrated operations.
About the Role This position sits within the department's Integrity and Ethical Behaviour Branch. The Integrity Team is responsible for providing policy and behaviour advice consistent with standards and expected conduct, supporting and promoting professional standards, ethical competence and commitment to values, designing and delivering integrity training, developing corruption prevention initiatives and supporting the workplace to discuss and raise integrity issues and concerns.
Your outcomes and accountabilities: Support the development and delivery of initiatives for promoting integrity and preventing fraud and corruption.Provide quality assurance over integrity related registers and administer registers for reporting purposes.Support the production of high-quality communications, briefings, employee information and legislated reporting.Maintain strong customer relationships and provide sound advice to key stakeholders to support compliance and the objectives of the Integrity and Ethical Behaviour Branch.Contribute to the continuous improvement and management of work practices and procedures for the team.Key Selection Criteria We are looking for a professional with stakeholder management expertise who takes proactive steps to enhance value for clients or stakeholders. You'll link stakeholders with other relevant areas, monitor satisfaction, and handle issues with a constructive approach. In project delivery, you will define tasks to achieve agreed outcomes, coordinate and guide team members, track task progress, and make adjustments as needed to keep projects on course.
The role requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills, allowing you to navigate issues by interpreting guidelines or consulting with others when they're unavailable. You'll analyze ideas, determine needed information, and make decisions based on context-appropriate problem-solving techniques. Foundational skills in partnering and co-creation will help you actively support the design process by providing clear instructions, facilitating collaboration, and understanding each phase of co-design with stakeholders. Additionally, policy design and development understanding is necessary, as you'll use policies to guide work, seek ways to improve knowledge, and support business case development.
