Based in our bustling Brisbane head office, you'll navigate our complex environment with finesse, leveraging our top-tier integration platform, Workato, along with your expertise in C# microservices, SQL databases, and various applications awaiting integration.    You'll provide invaluable support to the systems utilized by Shine, ensuring they function harmoniously and effectively. Our IT team offers you the best of both worlds – a supportive team that will love sharing their knowledge, and loads of autonomy.   Here's how you'll help us stay ahead of the pack:    You'll play a pivotal role in assisting in our Integration solution designs. Assist with the Workato centre of excellence and ensure all new integrations are built to standard. Build the new solutions that fully align with our business requirements. Assume technical responsibility for all stages of the software development process to ensure compliance with application development standards and achievement of documented requirements. Utilise technical expertise in the requirements analysis phase to ensure the solution is both fit for purpose and fit for use. Design and execute acceptance testing to improve the quality and reduce operational risk of the developed application. Provide on-going third level support of developed applications to reduce the impact of application defects and related incidents. Review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. Provide updates on work in progress, work completed, work planned, and issues potentially impacting the on-time completion or quality level of work. Conduct requirements analyses to gain an understanding of business needs. Undertake unit testing, design and code reviews and development of technical documentation.    What you'll bring.  To thrive in this role: You have significant demonstrated experience in a similar or comparable role. If you're a back-end developer with a keen interest in integration, we'd love to hear from you! You're a seasoned .NET developer with a track record of building numerous APIs for back-end applications. Your expertise extends to hands-on experience in C#, including proficiency in Entity Framework or other ORM tools, and you're well-versed in SQL Server. Your C# skills encompass advanced topics such as asynchronous programming, LINQ and multithreading. You're skilled in Microservices architecture, API development, and have experience with DevOps or other CI/CD tools. Proficiency in server management for deployment using CI/CD using DevOps or similar tools is your forte. You excel in clear interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Attention to detail is your middle name, with a knack for ensuring exceptional quality in every aspect of your work. You have experience working in Agile environments and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings. You're well-versed in integration platforms and have a solid understanding of Azure, including setting up new apps and features within it. You have completed performance testing and load testing across APIs before going live. Degree qualifications, or working towards degree qualifications, in a relevant field.
