Position Purpose
Our client, a leading provider who is devoted to worker's wellbeing, require an intake officer for their Newcastle location. The intake officer will be the first point of contact for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) clients, and to take down their information, allocate a counsellor and book in first appointments.
Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls, complete the intake online and allocate to the relevant counsellorBook appointments and follow up on appointmentsKeep confidential recordsFollow up with external providersMaintain and update recordsOther tasks as directed by the CEODesirable Qualifications: Studying as a health professional, preferably mental healthQualification in mental health; diploma in counsellingCustomer service experienceASIST or MHFA - these qualifications will be provided as part of a requirement of employmentAbout you: Discrete, professional and diplomatic - able to maintain confidentialityHighly organisedTakes pride in work initiating new systems and processesPeople focusedHighly self-motivated, energetic professionalResults driven How to Apply: If you are passionate about helping others and interested in this role, please "apply now"
